PRIVACY
POLICY.

LAST UPDATED · SEPTEMBER 3, 2026

Paper Clock is designed to be private by default. Your alarms, goals, and preferences stay on your Android device.

THE SHORT VERSION

The Paper Clock app does not require an account. It does not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information. It does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or cloud sync.

WEBSITE ANALYTICS

This website uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate visits. Plausible does not use cookies or collect personal data for this purpose.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

To provide the app, Paper Clock stores the alarm times, repeat schedules, labels, linked goals, selected sounds, vibration preferences, and target dates you create. This information is stored locally in the app's private Android storage and is not transmitted to us.

You can remove this information at any time by deleting alarms or goals in the app, clearing the app's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling Paper Clock.

ANDROID PERMISSIONS

Exact alarms
Used to schedule your alarms to ring at the time you set.
Notifications
Used for alarm-related notifications where Android requires them.
Full-screen alarm display
Used to show the alarm interface safely when an alarm rings.
Vibration

NETWORK ACCESS

Paper Clock is built to work offline. The app does not need an internet connection to set, schedule, or ring alarms, and it does not send your alarm or goal information to a remote server.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Because Paper Clock does not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
