By downloading, installing, or using Paper Clock, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or this website.

THE APP

Paper Clock is an offline Android alarm clock. It lets you create alarms, optionally link them to personal goals, choose bundled sounds, and configure vibration and repeat schedules. The app is provided for personal, lawful use.

ALARM RELIABILITY

Paper Clock uses Android system services to schedule alarms. Device settings, battery optimization, operating-system behavior, permissions, sound settings, power state, and other factors outside our control can affect alarm delivery.

Do not rely on Paper Clock for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, or other situations where a missed alarm could cause harm. You are responsible for keeping your device charged, granting the permissions the app needs, and verifying your alarm settings.

YOUR CONTENT

You retain ownership of the goals, labels, notes, and other information you enter into Paper Clock. This content is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the information you choose to enter and for maintaining any backup you may need.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Paper Clock, its design, software, brand, and bundled materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where the relevant license says otherwise, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the app or its materials without permission.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

This website may link to third-party sites, including GitHub release pages. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or operation.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Paper Clock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every alarm will ring exactly as expected.

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Paper Clock.
